My farming background has provided me with the independence and drive to become a successful entrepreneur, owning a business has given me the skills to solve issues as they arise. As a teacher I understand the importance of communication, I believe to effectively communicate you need to start by first building a relationship.As a captivating distiller I can hold the attention of who I am talking to, delivering the message in a meaningful way. As a teacher I am constantly adjusting my craft to be as clear, concise and engaging as possible as I am competing for attention with a number of social media platforms.As a room reader I can gauge how to best interact with an individual or a group. Recognizing body language and paying attention to verbal and non-verbal cues are essential in determining how to deal with a situation or deliver information. As a teacher I was immersed into an everchanging diverse environment and figuring out how to best reach each group each day was essential. This brings value to a company as effective communication is a key component in ensuring everybody is on the same page, dealing with sensitive or volatile situations and being able to de-escalate a heated conflict.As a creative solutionist I can solve problems in the moment, I can identify potential issues early on and find solutions. As an entrepreneur it is up to me to create solutions to a problem or identify the right course of action. This brings value to a company as it streamlines operations and makes everything more efficient. When an individual is able to work through minor roadblocks on their own it saves the company time and money as you are not needing to bring in added manpower and resources.My positive energy and enthusiasm are contagious and motivate those around me, my experience as a coach and mentor and my inherent appetite for guiding and training ensures that as a team we will reach higher goals, be more efficient and bring more value to the company. My approach to effective communication, and ability to read and understand people allows me to easily build a relationship with them.
