In 1988 I moved to the Systems Engineering group and was responsible for major account support in Japan. In 1990 I was able to convince corporate management of the need to provide a localized product for Japan and assisted in the formation of Novell Japan. I led the development group for Japan through two generations of products. I also managed the development of Netware Lite and Personal Netware products before deciding that my heart was in Engineering, not management, and went back as a Software Engineer working on localization libraries and the Netware for Macintosh programs.
