The Action on Climate Today (ACT-CCIP) is a Bilateral Partnership Programme between DFID and MOEFCC, implemented by Oxford Policy management Ltd, under DFID’s Asia Region Programme – Climate Proofing Growth and Development (CPGD) with the aim of mainstreaming Climate Change adaptation and resilience at National and Sub-National levels. The role encompasses managing the six Indian locations on:• Supporting the design and delivery of climate resilience at National and Subnational Levels• Promoting investments for climate compatible development• Building the climate change knowledge of decision makers• Attracting further climate change investment from the public and private sector

Leading the knowledge hub of the Coalition to collate, document and disseminate evidences from sanitation practices globally to addresses each stakeholder's requirements and help them make informed decisions. Initiatives executed are fundamentally to mend the gap in “produce to use” for a last mile connect of the learning. Created first of its kind Sustained National Knowledge Networks that galvanized over 250 organizations to come together, learn and share their experiences. Defined action plans for a multitude of state-wide interventions. Collaborated with the SuSanA (the Sustainable Sanitation Alliance), GIZ and introduced the India Chapter for the forum. Demarcated collaborative frameworks for engagement with government and multi-stakeholder dialogue with financial institutions and technology providers. Establishing processes, templates and procuring grant-in-aid for each project is a key responsibility.

Orchestrated for over 10 Bi-lateral projects; in the Field of Capacity Building, Clean Energy and Knowledge Exchange. These time bound projects between the Governments of India and the United States were aimed to promote US-India bilateral collaboration in science, technology, engineering and biomedical research. Met the mandate through substantive interaction among academia, R&D laboratories, industry and government. Areas of responsibility included Business Development, Project & Program Management, leading teams (direct and cross-functional), Monitoring & Evaluation and Improving the project cycle. While ensuring the continuation and enhancements of programs, managed over 100 Research Institutions, 500+ researchers collaborated with Government Officials both in USA and India.
