Began as a Guest Faculty on the weekends for the Writing Academy. However, after working for UCS for more than thirteen years, I started enjoying the new role at Henry Harvin, and soon they absorbed me as a skills trainer. Writing has always been my passion. I have been writing guest blogs for various reputed websites but I never knew my training methodology will be appreciated by the institute and loved by the students who were already professionals. Henry Harvin has been delivering certificate courses for working professionals. There cannot be anything better for a writer than to teach writing. I love my work, as every new batch brings a lot of learning for me as a writer while I share the tips and tricks to write wonderful content in content writing classes and share how to draw visuals with words in creative writing classes. Digital Marketing training is the cherry on the cake for content writers since digital is all about content. I have been delivering training for Content Writing, Creative Writing, Instructional Design, Digital Marketing, and other Soft Skills since December 2019. Considering my contribution to the Academy, I was promoted to Panel Advisor in the Writing Academy in July 2022

I joined UCS as Executive Assistant to Managing Director Mr Pankaj Sachdeva, after I took a career break for embracing motherhood. The company operated its business in two verticals with a team of eighteen people in total. I structured the HR Operations in the company by Drafting, editing, and implementation of administrative guidelines / HR Policies. Within a year, I streamlined the HR Operations and ensured the smooth and efficient functioning of operations at both business divisions. I also ensured to move operations of one business division to completely system-driven from manual within a year of my joining.Soon after, I diverted my focus to Training Need Evaluation, Talent Acquisition & Retention, Clearance & Exists, Staff Welfare, and delivered frequent training in various niches to upskill the existing team. To ensure that the team worked to their full potential, I ensured consistent career growth of the employees and a high retention rate to help the organisation grow.Since I understood the business well, I also managed the International Client Interface, Subscriptions with International Industry Bodies, Liasoning with In-house team of lawyers for a specific business vertical. The additional responsibilities gave me an in-depth understanding of the business. Respecting my commitment and dedication to the company I was taken on board as Director - Admin & HR within five years of my joining. I worked for UCS for more than thirteen years as I witnessed the company grow from a team of 18 to 180 and offices in various international locations. I have evolved as a professional as it was an awesome learning experience for me as I spent a long time of my professional career with the organisation.

I joined Ebony when the retail industry and mall culture was introduced to India. I worked for the Cheif Operating Office Mr. Rakesh Malhotra and acted as a bridge between Buying-Merchandising team at the corporate office and retail stores at various locations. My MS office Skills were honed here as I added value to the business with Formulation, tabulation, implementation, and verification of various buying plans. Liasoning between merchandising team at the corporate office and the sales team at various stores for timely stock replenishment ensured that I use my interpersonal and leadership skills well for smooth operations. Also, the customer complaints were escalated to me that taught me a lot of patience as I dealt with each one with a composed mindset. Vendor Management was the icing on the cake since I moved to both sides of the table. I was young and usually on my toes as I joined the company with just one store and the business grew to a chain of 12 stores by my exit. It was wonderful to be a part of the immense growth of retail sector in IndiaOrganizing in–house get-togethers and off-site trips was fun weiht learning as I conducted various campaigns and in-house surveys to ensure employee retention.

It was the first professional assignment and turned out to be a wonderful learning experience for me. I started with tabulation of data to help the sales team to collate data and create quotes for various tenders. Handling business queries and sending submissions gave me exposure to the client interface and I learnt business communication and honed my writing skills here.Basic office administration like vendor management, petty cash management, fleet management, travel bookings for staff etc. were other KRAs that helped me understand the administration techniques well. Since it was the start of my career, and I was keen on learning, it was more about understanding than deliverables. Yet, it was special to me.
