The Association Deltametropolis is the joint organisation, that unites the administrators of all government levels (Regional and Communal) in the metropolitan region of Holland. The Aim is to promote common goals, surpassing the individual administration's jurisdiction and to provide the future orientation and the regional long term perspective, that each of the invidual administrations cannot come up with. The NGO seeks to overcome the territorial and disciplinary fragmentation that cripples Dutch spatial planning. My role was to develop concepts to guide the administrators in their own administration, with concepts that have a future oriented perspective on the scale of the whole region and on a longer term ( up to 2050). Main topics are the environmental sustainability, energy, watermanagement, tourism, economic and traffic planning.

The objective of the exhibition, was to show to the local residents of the City center of Amsterdam the Moroccan town (Nador) that is the town where many of the Amsterdam migrants originate from.

The objective of the job was to propose the development model of the Randstad, 5.5 million inhabitant conurbation, the metropolitan core region of The Netherlands in the framework of the 5th National Memorandum Spatial Planning, with the future civil servants in the cities and counties, addressed in the memorandum, making them collaborate with national civil servants and private sector designers and national developers. The result was stronger regional collaboration on the scale of half Randstad, Rotterdam/The Hague conurbation and Amsterdam metropolitan region. This collaboration survived the abandoned Fifth Memorandum.

Genoa

Develop masterplans that project regionally the spatial needs of the Port Authority, with respect to quay length and logistical areas for intermodal transportation, to accomodate the on land though put to the European Hinterland. Develop urban design proposals that coordinate the needs of the Port Authority and the Urban development. The Ligurian coast is densely populated and the Port is in constant change.

Aorta Foundation

The role was to conceive, with young professionals parallel to 4 other teams, each following a distinct hypothesis the increase of the population of the town with 90% within the existing city limits, this meant an addition of 50.000 residential units, 10.000 per team.

Design a perspective for the city under the condition that the port has definitely left the town, a perspective for the Portcity without a port, in anticipation of the construction of Docks a few kilometers into the Nortsea towards the Channel and the conversion of the former Docklands (on going as 'Town Harbors' meaning residences and services on a waterfront)

Collaboration on a competition to design sustainable transportation infrastructure, linking the Mont Blanc tunnel to the economically vibrant Aosta Valley.

The objective of the research was to introduce the current practice of urbanists and architects into the curriculum of the school. The results of the research were used in the development of the specialisms on the educational programme. The results were obtained through participant obeservation. In the execution of the research I had fullfilled several design and management jobs.
