I have started this blog to exchange thoughts and ideas on the future of education in the Netherlands. I aim to exchange feasible ideas and promote a pragmatic positive mindset. Let us not discard any plan before having given it some real thought. But let's not hold back from pointing out flaws either. Mathematics teacher. I was considering my next career move. In the meantime I have taken up this temporary position (replacing the current teacher who has taken a maternity leave). Education has always been one of my great passions and life as a teacher appeals to me. It also provides enough freedom to keep up my passion for beging an entrepeneur.

University teacher at the faculty Economics&Informatics, teaching among others software engineering, object oriented programming, UML and business management.

Greenfield study on new logistics concept led to development of Smartparcel. My role varied during the project and covered the following fields: defining overall ICT architecture and functional specifications, definition and selection procedure (RFI, RFP), overall product specification management and control, ICT planning, etc.The project was executed with a core team of about 10-15 people keeping close contact, without the usual strict barriers between ICT and business/Sales.

Project and account manager of various projects for the business unit international. The projects varied roughly from short small scale application upgrades (<3 months, <20K euro) to major projects (Managament Information Systems, Support applications for primary and secondary business processes) of up to 18 months, 500k euro.
