Why stick to one thing when you love to do a lot? I have a couple of parallel careers. Things cross-pollinate, and I'm pretty versatile as a result. I first of all make animations, illustrations, cartoons and more. I'm also an all-round web editor and digital manager, with more than ten years of experience. I've managed all kinds of online activities for Dutch public broadcasters like VPRO and Boeddhistische Omroep: websites, video, audio, podcasts and social media. Including writing, editing, designing, and guiding site design in close collaboration with developers. I love to work in a team. Showing and teaching other people how putting content online can be fun and rewarding is of the many thing I enjoy.Next to that I have more than twenty years of experience as an illustrator and interactive animator. Clients include like the Dutch computer magazine MacFan, the Dutch public broadcaster KRO, NEMO science centre and the Dutch trade union FNV. At the same time I'm also editor for the website of Dutch independent comics magazine Zone 5300 for which I also make cartoons. Colleagues know me as someone who is highly creative, loves to collaborate and share and comes up with ideas, even outside of my direct field. But I'm always of the constraints, and try come up with a feasible solution.
