I am a native Vietnamese speaker with a standard Northern Vietnamese accent. I have 3 years of experience teaching to university students and secondary school students.I love teaching Vietnamese because I know that learners of Vietnamese are friends who love our small S-shaped country. I understand that you often find it difficult with the 6 tones, the combined consonants like nh, kh, ng, ph, and the combined vowels uôi, ươi, iêu, oai,… ect which do not exist in English. Believe me, I also had similar difficulties with English. But any difficulty can be overcome if we are diligent and have a suitable companion, right?Previously, I majored in software. Currently, I am continuing to improve my skills in finance and law to develop consulting work on Vietnam's economy, investment, and policy. Therefore, besides teaching, my strengths lie in topics such as society, economy, politics, technology... My perspective on learning and teaching Vietnamese is not just about enabling learners to communicate, but also about helping them feel the flow of Vietnamese history and culture through language. Vietnam has a history of over 4000 years of nation-building, but the most recent political regime began in 1945, and Vietnam's economy has only really opened up since 1992, developing strongly since joining the WTO in 2005. We are in a period of economic integration where culture and language intersect with the world. I hope you can find the Vietnamese rhythm through our lessons.
