Hi I’m Vandro, I currently live in Adelaide and work as Food and Beverage Team Leader in Pullman Adelaide. As a Business Marketing fresh graduate, I am interested in travel, cruise, and logistics industry since I was very young. Throughout my four years in the hospitality industry in Australia, I have witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of tourism on local businesses and the community.At the Pullman and ibis Adelaide, where I completed a six-month internship, I was actively involved in various marketing initiatives that allowed me to see firsthand, the impact that tourism industry has on local business. This hands-on experience has honed my skills in key areas relevant to the Marketing Coordinator role.I have developed strong communication skills through my roles in hospitality and marketing, confidently engaging with clients and stakeholders from many walks of life. My approachable and outgoing nature enables me to build rapport easily with diverse groups and once I know the product, I am confident in my communication style and telephone manner to be able to sell and connect.Throughout my time working in hospitality and during my internship, I have been required to negotiate with customers, clients and suppliers and resolve issues efficiently. For instance, during my internship, I handled various challenges related to campaign execution and digital content management, demonstrating my ability to find effective solutions under pressure.Managing multiple tasks such as updating website content and creating marketing materials has sharpened my attention to detail. I am adept at maintaining accurate records and implementing efficient systems to ensure smooth operations.I thrive in high-pressure environments and am motivated by meeting targets and deadlines. My ability to stay focused and deliver results, even when facing challenges, aligns well with the goal-oriented nature of the role.My internship included tasks related to SEO and digital marketing support, providing me with a foundational understanding of Google Analytics. My academic background and hands-on experience have equipped me with a solid marketing knowledge base, including arts and events and although my experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is limited, I am currently pursuing certification in GDS such as Sabre, Amadeus, Salesforce and Meta advertising to enhance my proficiency.
