In this role I was responsible for the development and end-to-end delivery of innovative new Energy-as-a-Service products as part of Ovida’s New Markets & Innovation team. I established new partnerships and worked with existing partners to develop new sustainable energy products that satisfy customer requirements. Following the lean startup approach, I managed all product development aspects from ideation, business model validation and iteration, MVP development to execution and evolution.• Developed an innovative flexible and short-term Energy-as-a-Service solution involving an Australian-first business model leveraging audited re-deployable solar & storage technologies• Development of off-grid Stand-Alone Power System (SAPS) opportunitiesOvida is owned by one of Australia's largest energy infrastructure companies, SGSP (Australia) Assets Pty Ltd (SGSPAA) who owns and manages over $11B in assets within local energy distribution and transmission networks.

In this role I was responsible for identifying, pitching, developing and delivering new energy business opportunities for ENGIE and Simply Energy as part of the Energy Solutions team.These opportunities include Virtual Power Plant (VPP) concepts such as Simply Energy's Battery VPP as well as the Rheem smart hot water VPP in South Australia (which I led from Simply Energy's perspective), Electric Vehicle business opportunities, innovative (mobile) battery energy storage solutions, low carbon/energy efficiency services & products and DER aggregation strategies. Building on previous intrapreneurial experience and time spent at Europe's leading tech incubator, I have delivered and developed these business opportunities by leading and working in agile multidisciplinary teams following the iterative lean startup approach.

Part of the Innovation & Incubation team of ENGIE Ventures and Integrated Solutions as a new business developer, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of innovative new energy business opportunities. • proposed to respond to a call from the Dutch TSO (Transmission System Operator) TenneT searching for innovative new ways to provide FCR (primary frequency control)• developed an innovative new Virtual Power Plant concept that combines ENGIE’s work fields into a technically feasible proposal and, based on this, ENGIE was selected by the Dutch Transmission System Operator• appointed as the project manager of the project; successfully implemented a portfolio of flexible assets (DERs) that were pooled to provide FCR - this concept won the ENGIE Innovation award in 2018• selected to participate in the 3-month LaunchLab pre-incubation program of YES!Delft (Europe's leading tech incubator) for high potential tech-startups teamed up with a Sodium-ion battery start-up• co-developed a large-scale mobile battery storage solution in partnership with ENGIE Generation and a diesel genset rental company - this concept won the ENGIE Innovation award in 2019

Writing of a preliminary diagnosis of the potential of renewable energy technologies in Estelí and their respective economic viabilities. Biomass & Biogas, Micro Wind Power, as well as Photovoltaic technology were analysed, yet the primary focus was put on Solar Thermal Systems and Micro-Hydropower. The report provides recommendations on each renewable energy technology, and offers a platform for further research.
