I am a graduate of The University of Arizona with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. I graduated from the University of Arizona in May of 2018. Currently, I am a Manufacturing Engineer II at The Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes.While working at the Boeing Company as a Manufacturing Engineer, I enjoy solving problems and finding ways to improve production, reducing production costs, and looking for a more efficient way to produce high-quality products efficiently. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I own the build plan, so I make it an obligation for me to work closely with the production team to get their input on how I can help them do their job safely and efficiently by making sure they have clear work instructions and ensuring they have the proper tools. I enjoy seeking out challenges to help me grow as an engineer and expand my knowledge. I have taken on special assignments and projects outside of my normal Manufacturing Engineering role to support the build of the airplane. I am currently training on how to operate a Surphaser to take accurate measurements for investigation and analysis of the fuselage structures. I have experience and enjoy working in a cross-functional team with other engineers and groups. I have been working with cross-functional engineering teams that may consist of Design Engineers, Liaison Engineers, Tool Engineers, and Stress Engineers to solve production issues, tooling issues, and/or quality issues in the production system. In addition, I have worked with suppliers and coordinated with them to help solve any issue in their factory and in ours to work as a “One Boeing” team to solve issues. In addition, I have coordinated with suppliers in Japan and worked with them to solve issues and review the build plan.
