As the company is the leader in the FMCG warehouse & distribution market in Botswana, with an annual turnover of 3 billion BWP, with 4 subsidiaries, I am involved in the improvement of business processes by integrating & maintaining BI tools such as Sales Order Automated Processing (SOAP) in the Sales, Invoicing, and Warehouse & Distribution. I oversee the IT infrastructure made up of multiple VM Ware servers running Windows 2012 R2 centrally managed through vCenter Server. I am responsible for the planning, control and execution of all IT data operations including data access control, cloud, Dell Appasure backup and offsite backups, network availability and access for authorized users. Though the Fortigate Firewall I manage the internet usage for the employees as well as monitor the antivirus solutions to keep the organizations’ data safe. As the I am the 2nd and 3rd line of support, I am key to the quick resolution of helpdesk tickets to ensure zero downtime of the payroll, QlikView BI, MDaemon mail server, GoogleApps Mail, Card & Biometric access control systems, Kodak Document Management System and SAP. I provide continuous training and mentorship to the IT team members by including them in the design, development and implementation of systems, as well as the development of policies and procedures in line with the ITIL Framework. Having assumed the role of the SAP version 8.8 to now 9.2, in-house technical and functional support lead for the +100 end users across three sites, I single-handedly manage the master data through reports and SAP DTW. I develop ad-hoc queries and sales related reports using SAP Query Manager, QlikView & MS SQL according to evolving business needs for various departments at the same time maintaining a high level of accuracy of data. When required, I customize SAP forms with UDF’s and develop PLD’s & reports using Crystal Reports. I mastered Valogix Inventory Planning as well as other SAP add-ons like the Discount Matrix. Within my position I was able to partake in 3 SAP B1 implementations for my employers subsidiary companies. In heading the company’s IT SteerCom as the Project Manager on all IT related undertakings I plan, co-coordinate and execute SAP upgrades and add ons within strict time-frames with minimized downtime or impact on the business.

I was responsible for the continuous training and support of clients like DPSM, TSM, RIPCO and BTC and Air Botswana on Infinium HR and HR Focus ERP Systems based on their business processes. I would meet regularly with clientsto discuss implementation progress. I was also responsible for ensuring optimum data quality in the HR Management systems by creating reports using SPSS. Part of my responsibilities included advising the client on how best to maximize systems they already had in place based on their business processes.

I was responsible for the technical hardware & software installation, upgrades & troubleshooting. I did the network design, cabling and maintenance for clients. I trained users in using applications like MS Office. I developed user specificsoftware on a small scale with C++ and Visual basic.
