During my career break, I invested time in my my skills and personal growth through education, reading, podcasts, & webinars with an emphasis on leadership and design trends (fashion, color, materials, and consumers). I spent time volunteering, building meaningful connections. Being eco-curious of sustainability in fashion and learning about emerging methods, which are topics captured in my blog.

• Promoted to lead, coach, develop, and inspire the creative team to generate innovative product solutions, driven by insight for the Men’s and Women’s Training Apparel Category, including projects for SMU, Dick’s Sporting Goods co-creation, and the adidas x Peloton collaboration. • Managed 70-100 models and 250-400 SKUs per season through design ideation, color application, and tech packs. • Shaped the seasonal creative narrative and visual language aligned with brand objectives and Global creative direction. • Contributed to business growth for the Training category by implementing product franchise designs, key item strategies, and seasonal silhouettes by leveraging insights gained on fit, function, color, material, and detail. • Collaboration with stakeholder functions: Marketing, Product Development, Creative Direction, Brand Design, and Operations. Supporting strategic processes, managing design calendars, establishing design deliverables in cadence to operational deadlines.

• Fostered collaboration and creativity with the color design team and global category design leads through collaboration and leadership.• Direct contributor to curating seasonal color direction. Developing Sport Performance seasonal color palette, integrating that direction into sub seasonal color palettes for sport specific categories, enabling holistic head to toe expression.• Influenced brand color concepts, featured at the Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Oversaw color direction and its application for signature athlete projects for NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA.

• Led, coached, and developed a team to execute seasonal concepts and designs for Women’s Training Apparel, by setting clear goals and facilitating creative discussion. • Delivered holistic storytelling through inspiration, direction, and seasonal product design. • Managed and developed seasonal color direction for the Men’s and Women’s Training ranges, creating relevant color palettes, aligned to global brand concepts and themes.

• Working in partnership with Stella McCartney and her creative team, I brought functional insight to co-create the leading women’s line for the adidas sport performance division.• Managed the design team, implementing Stella’s vision, responsible for creating tech packs and handovers to product development. • Collaboration with stakeholder functions, establishing process improvements for the category, enabling efficient workflow within the adidas by Stella McCartney partnership.

• Promoted to concept project lead designer in 2007 for Kids and Women’s Training Apparel collections executing seasonal storytelling, material, trim, color application, and tech pack management.

• Supported seasonal direction through sketching, concept layouts, color palette build, and development of cads for kids apparel for top licensors: Disney and Mattel, Inc.
