When I was young, people always strived to work in one job for all of their lives. This is what I tried to live by for the longest time as well: Stick with what you know.It took me more than a decade to learn that it is completely fine to want change, and especially to seek happiness. Not only in your private life, but work as well.Going from a bank and insurance background into hospitality might have been one of the bigger risks I have taken thus far, but it's definitely been a risk worth taking. It ultimately led me to a personal "full-circle" moment: After being a temp-worker for a big part of my early career, I am now supporting other people in finding a job that matches their aspirations and ideals.Always remember: The biggest risk in life is not taking one at all.Go and find happiness in all that you do! Thrive in your work environment as much as you do in your hobbies! Or why not make your hobby your new job altogether?
