I'm passionate about acquiring knowledge and I love learning. This has helped me grow professionally and personally. I thrive when I'm being challenged and I rise to the occasion when I am . Handling difficult situations, problem solving and being decisive is my speciality . I've worked within the provincial and federal government for close to 20 years. Within that time I lived in a small town, small city and a large urban center. I'm able to adapt and pivot when it's necessary. At my core I value inclusion and diversity. I’m a Pride Toronto volunteer and am and active voting member. I was also the Employee Co Chair for the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion with my employer. I've taken part in several work place initiatives such as the Red dress campaign that brings awareness to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. The one thing that I know for sure is that things are constantly moving and changing.I will continue to do the same in every aspect of my life.
