Support during the SAP deployment in MX/USAPurchase Order Placement and supplier follow up, make certain delivery requirements are met, consult with category leaders to identify cost saving projects. Every day run report to check invoices with an issue resolution (tax issues, freight charges, remit to address, payment request: Baseline date change, Invoice reversal, Expedite payment)Create request for new suppliers, Edicom focal point. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by manager.

Place purchase orders for the procurement of material as required by forecast and production schedule, Monitor status of open orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials including timely resolution, communication and mitigation of future potential problems. Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes. Obtain quotations working from requisitions, drawings, specifications and memos.

Acquiring materials and supplies. Generate Purchase Orders, coordinate order requirements with requestors and suppliers, place rush orders, source best item available. Checking order status on open orders, provide feedback to internal customers, expedite orders as requested, follow up on late orders.
