· Responsible for identifying and implementing the appropriate application of accounting standards. Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the balances in the general ledger, the preparation of relevant journal entries, and the reconciliation of the relevant Client Incentives accounts. Responsible to ensuring the Client Incentive Accounting grid is adhered to. (35%)· Responsible for contract review to ensure the appropriate application of GAAP is aligned with the contract terms and conditions that there is consistency in the review processes and that complex terms are reviewed with management. (20%)· Responsible for performing research on the relevant contract terms, calculations and relevant guidance to ensure the Client Incentives are set up properly in the underlying systems. Responsible for the timely processing of the set up and relevant communications regarding each contract. (20%)· Assists in the preparation of the support for the relevant financial audits, both internal and external, to ensure the requirements are met both timely and accurately. Responsible for adhering to the control environment and assessing the relevant controls quarterly. (10%)· Responsible for identifying areas of opportunity and implementing action plans to improve work processes within the department and eliminate waste. Incorporate process improvements as appropriate. (15%)
