I am currently a Social Work Team Leader on the Adult Safeguarding and Protection Team, with over 10 years experience working with children and their families/ child protection both in the UK and Ireland. I am passionate about promoting multi-disciplinary/ collaborative work in the interest of care provision and best possible outcomes for the people we support. I’m a keen advocate for “nothing about you without you”, ensuring people’s voices are heard and their choices respected. I have a strong interest in policy, legislation and service development and provision. I am the Garda Liaison Lead for SPT DNCC, working closely with the Domestic Abuse Coordinators (DAC’s) and providing training to the Gardaí in relation to SPT. I am a member of the Domestic Violence Working Group in Dublin 15. I am also involved in the Assisted Decision Making Mentee Programme.
