I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Humanities, a field that combines the study of medicine, culture, and ethics. Currently, I am the Internal Vice President at Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Southern Region (UVSA South), a nonprofit organization that aims to empower and connect Vietnamese American students and communities across Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. In this role, I manage the organization's staff, oversee the Intercollegiate Council of Representatives' activities, and mentor young leaders. I have developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills through my involvement with UVSA South. In addition to my work with UVSA South, I have gained valuable experience in project management and customer service through my internships at Founders Healthcare and Crawfish Cafe. At Founders Healthcare, I learned how to apply the principles of project lifecycle management, and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment. At Crawfish Cafe, I built a positive work environment that encouraged teamwork and high performance from front house staff, managed daily restaurant operations, and sustained great quality of service to build customer retention. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of people and communities, and I believe that my skills and experiences can contribute to the mission and vision of your organization. I am eager to join your team and bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the table.
