I worked on the RF Infrastructure Design team at Starry.• Led the bring-up and testing of the RF hardware of Passport, a dual-band receiver used to find optimum placement of our consumer radios based on signal strength of our base stations• Root-caused performance failures on the LO, RF, & IF chains of Passport & implemented a new design to resolve the problems. • Designed, modeled, and simulated both a cascaded hybrid coupler and a radial stub diplexer to improve isolation between the two bandpass filters on the LO path of Passport. Laid out the diplexer for a new revision of the Dual-Band Passport program• Brought up and managed over 50 IF boards to keep track of testing and reworks performed on these boards• Wrote a python script to analyze EVM & output power during temperature compensation for our consumer transceivers• Wrote various python scripts to analyze RF components such as Mixers, Butler Matrix, waveguides, RF connectors, etc.
