Position Summary:Under the general direction of the Manager, Economic Development & Tourism Services Department, the Economic Development Officer – Tourism Development is responsible for tourism development by researching and promoting economic development and tourism within Parkland County. The main focus of this position will be working with current tourism operators as well as carry out a variety of activities to attract other tourism businesses. Additional duties include maintaining clear communications with applicable parties, agencies and departments as well as participating in the Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee.
