Supported the design, execution, and vision of youth-led advocacy campaign titled #FosterStability and #FosterStability2HEAL which eliminated the 7-day notice in California for young people placed in the Child Welfare System.

-Promote and enable foster youth to develop and pass legislation pertinent to foster care and child welfare. -Coordinate CYC's Legislative Committee-Provide intensive advocacy training for youth elected to the Legislative Committee at an annual retreat. -Review child welfare legislation with CYC's legislative committee and develop positions (support, oppose, watch) on foster care bills CYC is interested in engaging on. Track those bills throughout the session and write letters/meet with legislators/provide testimony at hearings.

New Leaders Council is the hub for progressive Millennial though leadership. Soon to be the largest voting bloc in American history (~83 million voters) and possessing significant economic power.
