I have over 25 years of experience working in a variety of hospitality positions ranging from Housekeeping to Bartending/Serving to Front Desk and back office Administration. I have worked on tourism and marketing committees and held an Executive seat on Jasper's Chamber of Commerce board the year that it transitioned its role to Tourism Jasper as a DMO. I have completed many marketing and business courses and have a solid understanding of how to operate and grow a hotel within a very seasonal tourist market. My role as General Manager has allowed me to explore the challenges of Human Resources with a transient, seasonal employee group; learn and meet the challenges of operating a business within the restrictions of a National Park; find creative ways to market a Hotel & Pub within a very competitive market and intertwine my love of outdoor activities with building a successful team and organization.
