About Vanessa Ivy

I am a people-centered researcher. My research centers people of color and seeks to understand how they advocate for themselves interpersonally and systemically. I hope to continue researching underrepresented populations and how systemic racism or bias influences these populations and hinders them from achieving their goals and engaging in actions to reduce systemic bias. I have presented my work at conferences and have quantitative and qualitative research skills. Including proficiency in data analysis using R and SPSS.
