As a passionate and detail-oriented industry professional, I enjoy approaching complex projects with a holistic user centered approach. A large part of my success while working with people stems from my ability to cultivate an intuitive understanding of their needs and spearhead each project from there. With my diverse background and experience, I have had the opportunity to work in nearly all avenues of design. I bring with me my experience in healthcare, government, corporate work place/commercial, education, residential, hospitality, and sports entertainment design. I have a strong understanding of Revit and CAD along with many other programs that aid in the design process. My involvement in projects spans the entire design process from schematics that lay the foundation, to client collaboration on finishes, all the way through construction documents, specifications, and construction administration.With vast experience in commercial furniture, you will see my skills in space planning, writing and executing FF&E bids, and coordinating installation including punch list tracking. Having been on the client side as an internal interior designer, I have strong understanding of capital budgets, project management, tracking budgets, and most importantly how to work with all of the key players that sit at the "project table." Aside from interior design, I have spent time dabbling in graphic design, website creation and management through my ongoing position as the Website Coordinator with Interior Designers of Idaho (IDI.) Likewise, I have had the privilege of holding leadership rolls in IDI such as Student Liaison, Vice President, and President. In these rolls I honed my communication skills, time management, event planning, and marketing, taking IDI membership from 28 to 70 in 2018.What can you expect when working with me? I aim for my co-workers to not only be colleagues but my friends. To not only be a part of my clients project but to be a team member in the success of their business. I understand when a project is a "get in and get out within budget" and when there is call for a visionary design unlike any other. In the current chapter of my career I hope to be mentored and to mentor others. At present, I am in the process of studying for my NCIDQ certification exams that I intend to take fall of 2023.From small, solo projects to creative collaborations, I’m always looking for a chance to explore undiscovered avenues and learn new skills that I can apply to what I do.
