Quality Assurance Co-OrdinatorGm Holden Jan 2015 - Apr 2016This role requires strong analytical focus and critical thinking. It is important to be efficient and accurate in this job, as I had many opportunities to contribute to global initiatives that have a major impact on business operations and capabilities. I have managed to make several significant process changes in the role, and some of my key tasks in this role included:— Direct responsibility of all information regarding error statistics and performance metrics to be communicated to all staff in Service Parts and Operations, as well as GM Global operations on a weekly basis. This often involved organising and analysing raw data to develop and support performance improvement strategies. — The co-ordination of the claims process, which involved answering dealer queries via phone and email, as well as directly facilitating the payment of credit returns, using SAP and COLD. This was to be done in conjunction with inventory and asset management. — Process standardisation of the fundamental quality reporting processes. This involved a number of tasks, such as capturing the process flow of claims, collaborating with the Adelaide site to share information, and automating manual procedures. — The development of a live, automatic individual performance report generator. This capability was previously lacking due to the implementation of SAP leaving gaps in reporting capabilities. I used VBA to create a report that captured elements of information specific to an operator in order to aid the provision of streamlined improvement strategies. — The extensive use of SAP, Tableau, COLD and MS Office (mostly Excel and Access) to improve upon current processes and develop new ones. — Co-ordinating audits to dealerships and distributors in order to ensure that standardised processes are followed, and to make recommendations to the Principle Dealer and the Spare Parts Manager to help to reduce error rates and maximise operations efficiency.
