1. Financial Reportinga) Oversee and manage the monthly/quarterly/annual Group reporting which will be a source of information and monitoring of the business performances by all companies.b) Ensure timely submission of financial and other information in the prescribed format to the CFO and BHB to facilitate their inclusion in the BHB group monthly management report, quarterly reporting to Bursa Malaysia and the annual audited financial statements.c) Keep abreast of and plan for due compliance arising from the relevant changes in accounting (including Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards) and taxation to ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia and Companies’ Act, 1965 regulatory frameworks.d) Liaise and collaborate with the external auditors and internal auditors to ensure full compliance with accounting standards and good practices of internal controls.2. Budgetinga) Co-ordinate and manage the preparation of the Group’s annual financial budget and slidespresentation to ensure timely submission to the Management for their consideration and approval.b) Review for reasonableness and challenge the key assumptions used in the preparation of budgets by subsidiaries. 3. Taxationa) Oversee tax compliance of the Group by ensuring proper review of tax computations and timely submission of tax returns to Inland Revenue Board of Malaysiab) Ensure proper dealings with Tax Authorities and address all issues highlighted in any tax audit with assistance of external tax agent and BHB Group Tax Department.4. Annual Reporta) Ensure information for inclusion in the financial statements are prepared in accordance with BHB group accounting policies and that the presentation and contents are in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and the requirement of Companies Act, 1965

• Ensure timely submission of management reports/inter-co matrixes by subsidiaries and completion of monthly consolidated reporting package• Preparation of monthly/quarterly/year-to-date Consolidated Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and Consolidated Statement of Cash Flow in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards• Managing and adhering to timelines imposed by holding company on submission of good quality monthly consolidated reporting package and quarterly Bursa Malaysia reports to holding company• Review of subsidiaries’ budgets and the underlying assumptions based on available historical data and trend analysis (i.e. any abnormal/unusual fluctuations)• Performing overall business performance review with correlation to revenue, GP, expenses and taxation• Performing overall financial position at month end for working capital items such as trade receivables/payables and inventories as well as borrowings• Performed monthly detailed analysis on inventories fluctuations by inventories categories with reference to turnover days and sales activity• Provide technical assistance/solutions to business unit finance controllers to ensure compliance with the accounting standards such as impairment of assets, treatment of investment in a subsidiary with subsequent dilution of interest to an associate • Performed ad-hoc reporting requirement/duties as assigned
