• Verifies balances and scales, calibrates pH and conductivity meter, and records gas levels in respective Excel logbooks. • Receives and blends food products delivered to the lab. • Prepares instrument friendly samples for gas and liquid chromatography analysis for clients, for calibration curves, or verification injections by weighing samples, recording sample weight, extracting, and vialling under the direction of laboratory chemist. • Prepares solutions such as mobile phases, seal wash, extraction solution, etc. • Operation of scales, balances, shaker, single channel micropipettes, ultrasonic cleaner, and industrial blenders. • Maintains laboratory supplies by keeping track of inventory and ordering supplies as needed. • Establishes and maintains lab cleanliness and organization by cleaning glassware and laboratory equipment, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down all surfaces as needed.

• Accurately receives, accessions, and processes incoming specimens. • Evaluates specimen integrity before sending it into the lab, handling unacceptable specimens properly. • Enters order information and patient data into the computer system. • Receives and maintains inventory, submits purchase orders, and ships client orders.
