• Extensive translation experience across multiple document and market types, such as legal documents (especially agreements), oil and gas, medical, general documents, financial statements, articles, medical, marketing. Experience also in localisation and transcreation.• Previous work has included elaborating glossaries and technical research/adaptation of technical terminology.• Equally comfortable completing small projects on my own or larger projects as part of a team, such as my work for IBM.• Skilled at project management, projects and team organisation.• Confident in handling tight deadlines and exceeding Customer expectations.• Experienced with conference calls, consecutive interpretation during meetings, elaboration of lectures and presentations etc.• Familiar with CAT tools such as Trados Studio, WordFast, Memsource.• Experience with documents alignment for the generation of translation memories and glossaries.• Experience in project management, managing translation/transcription projects, since the first contact with the client, project organisation, elaboration of schedules to the allocation of work to the linguists to the end of the project.• Experience in preparing and formatting documents for translation.
