My name is Vanessa Scarpetta and I am an undergraduate Aerospace Engineering student at the University of Florida. I am passionate about applying my inquisitive nature, problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit into the aerospace industry. Through my past technical experience, I have been able to expand my skillset by challenging myself to learn new things and constantly asking questions. As a dedicated lifelong learner, I am determined to continue to explore new concepts and increase my expertise to successfully apply it to future projects. Apart from my studies, I also enjoy getting involved in different organizations to continually grow my leadership skills, uplift other students, and seek academic advice. As a first generation student I am aware of the importance of seizing opportunities and plan to take full advantage of these opportunities to improve and help others.
