I work full-time for Three Chimneys Farm in Versailles, Kentucky. I work in the office - with the breeding and racing side of the thoroughbred business. I book mares during breeding season and help with event planning and the day-to-day running of the office. Seasonally I help RunTheBluegrass (a race running company), I used to write a weekly column for the local newspaper - The Woodford Sun but now just do freelance work and am working on a book. Back in England I worked for Pony magazine, and Horse & Hound magazine as a journalist. I am a master stylist at Moxie Style Studio in Versailles under my own salon business title of London’s Calling Hair Salon. I work as a hairstylist some evenings and weekends during the year. I enjoy the creative process of doing hair and working with people to look their best. I have also worked the Thoroughbred horse sales at Keeneland and Fasig Tipton for Brookdale, Paramount and Lane’s End. I was the owner operator of a Thoroughbred farm for 15 years with my ex-husband - running the day to day farm operations of mares, foals and yearlings. And I have also worked for Lane’s End as sales coordinator. When not working I enjoy my family, especially my children, being outside, running and traveling - in particular back home to England.
