It was 2001. The year witnessed the release of three brand-new Nancy Drew CD-ROMs, all joining the towering stacks of CD-ROMs alongside the family Windows 98 computer. As a 10-year-old sleuth, I was drawn by the allure of finding clues to unlock the library's mysteries in Nancy Drew's newest adventure. However, on that fateful day in 2001, the allure of the Windows 98 accessibility settings proved irresistible, extending beyond the enigmatic and unattainable library. It was during this exploration that I stumbled upon the magnifier feature, inadvertently clicking one too many times, which rendered the changes seemingly irreversible. The unintentional catastrophe left the computer in a state of disarray, necessitating the intervention of Geek Squad to restore it to its former glory where I once again would sleuth my way into the forbidden library.My passion for discovery and solving puzzles led me into my early career aspirations where I combined speech pathology and vocal performance to solve an issue not yet widely addressed: providing voice therapy to professional singers. I realized during my graduate studies that my true calling was to leverage my innate problem-solving abilities in the realm of software engineering as it provides an opportunity for a more profound impact. Today, I am a dedicated software engineer still searching to solve world issues. With a unique and well-rounded perspective to understand user needs, my goal extends to crafting exceptional user experiences. I have had the privilege of collaborating with talented designers to create intuitive and seamless interfaces.
