Growing up I was the kid who loved watching a great gory documentary. It was always my dream to work in the forensic field. I invested my all in the science field and fell completely in love with Biology. In May of 2017, I graduated with an Associate of Science in Biology. I took my education a bit further and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in May 2019 The opportunity to have hands-on training in a laboratory setting has enabled me with the possibility to get my foot in the door of the profession I wish to attain. I also understand that I will be a continuous student, willing to learn any new techniques that are developed in the field. For 8 years I worked directly in customer service within the retail and food industry. It has allowed me to interact with a vast variety of people. Operating in that all-encompassing field has provided me with a number of skill sets. It has taught me that the workplace should be filled with integrity, hard work, responsibility, and tasks should always be done with a sense of urgency. These are skills that will aid in my future endeavors.Outside of my love affair with science, I also relish traveling to new and exciting places. I also enjoy both playing and watching sports or cuddling up with my dog and a great book.Looking forward to any new career opportunities that are to come.
