I'm a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of New Jersey that is passionate about all areas of lifespan and development with a strong focus on cardiac care in adult populations. The American Heart Association, identifies heart disease as the number one killer of men and women. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported it as killing approximately half a million people annually. These statistics are overwhelming and must be addressed. As a healthcare professional, I hope to attain a position on a cardiac care unit to help those who have heart disease. Since these patients and families have a difficult time, emotionally and physically, in dealing with these stressors, I hope to provide an environment that will be conducive to healing. With adequate teaching, I hope to empower patients in taking control of their health(mind, body, and spirit) in striving to improve their health in the long run.
