An exploration of Manic-Depression Bipolar, written from an autobiographical perspective of an artist. The book uses text, poetry and journal entries with fine art illustration that gives a visual yet intellectual account of what it is to be Bipolar. Is available to buy.

Lafayette, Colorado

Duties include taking care of aging clients, for a variety of reasons, in their home. Depending on the needs of the client, tasks may include personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and incontinence care; Home care, such as cooking, laundry, and light housekeeping; medication reminders, and transportation to doctors appointments or social engagements. There is additional special training for dementia and Alzheimer’s clients.

Seattle

I was enrolled in the clinical mental health counseling program with an emphasis in Art Therapy. My goal was to become competent in counseling and art therapy and work in a clinical setting as well as having a private practice. I did not finish my degree.

Greater Seattle Area

Residential Counselor. Duties included interacting with the chronically alcoholic homeless population. Taking phone calls, faxing, making copies, running an art group, medication management, cleaning, restocking supplies, being available for emergencies, calling 911, making breakfast.

Capital Hill North

I volunteer in four groups for developmentally disabled clients, ranging from autism, down syndrome, mental retardation, and cerebral palsy. My job as volunteer is to assist the counselors in the group therapy sessions. Social skills, a woman's group, self-esteem building and art therapy are the groups I work primarily with.

Longmont, Colorado

I assist customers in painting pottery. Then I glaze their pieces and fire them in a kiln. I also lead a painting every other Friday to adults, and teach childrens paintings to parties.

Overlook students progression with Photoshop functions. Help assist students create a basic website using Medialab technology through Photoshop and answer questions the students had via e-mail and otherwise.

I took attendance, made sure the class participation remained high, answered all questions via e-mail in addition to sending helpful tips for writing papers and doing research. I graded papers and gave thorough feedback on content and grammar. I had a flexible schedule to work with the students after or before class.
