I am an educated individual who learns quickly and has good time management. I also have a robust background in working well with coworkers and have communication skills with a wide variety of people. I’m patient and compassionate while also knowing when things need to get done in a concise manner. I am interested in many fields at any level and would like a position with longevity. I have decent computer and technology skills and am eager to learn any new software that might be required. I went to Metropolitan State University of Denver to receive my BFA and I just achieved my MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). I completed two years at Antioch University in Seattle towards a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling.Over my time at PAFA, I created an autobiography titled Pendulum about what it is to have manic-depression through the eyes of a fine artist. The book includes a wide array of materials – from oil to charcoal – and each page is its own fully realized artwork. My mission was to show that mental illness is not some blessing that artists have, but something that has affected every facet of my life detrimentally. Through the power of art you can get people who can not speak for themselves to express their feelings and emotions. Art can be a very powerful thing. This took me to my journey to Antioch University Seattle to pursue a degree in Clinical Mental health counseling. Although I did not have a chance to complete my degree, I know that I want to work with people.
