• Prepared all pipeline ROW crossing applications required by local governments, state transportation agencies, utilities and railroads for a pipeline extension of a gathering system to meet construction schedule.
• Participated in a multi-disciplinary asset team to secure federal, state and county ROW permits for lay flat water lines to transport fresh water to well locations to meet drilling and completion schedules and ensure.
• Drafted and edited SUA’s and ROW contracts to provide constructive comments designed to protect and enhance the value of midstream assets.

• Managed a technical team to assemble 450 WOGCC APD’s and HWA’s to secure DSU operations in key leasehold areas of the Powder River Basin on time and under budget.
• Coordinated with key surface land personnel to track survey progress and adjust the permit schedule according to management goals under rigorous project deadlines.
• Liaison with corporate management team to provide progress reports, obtain feedback on contractor performance and communicate changes to the project schedule and goals in a timely and efficient manner.

• Directed the federal permitting process for 25 wells within three federal units per the terms of the Atlantic RIM EIS; attended onsites, coordinated changes with surveyors, drafted SUP’s and prepared POD permit.
• Advocated for client at semi-annual Atlantic Rim public meetings to maintain a professional working relationship with federal and state regulators while maintaining reasonable operating conditions.
• Resolved BLM INC’s by filing MIT, shut-in well, and resume production sundries in WIS.

Denver, Rawlins, Baggs, Rock Springs

• Senior Surface Landman: Managed all state and federal permitting and regulatory compliance for an annual $50 million drilling budget to increase production from a Ft. Union discovery field. Responsible for developing.
• Supervised the preparation of drilling permits for Rawlins BLM to grow an inventory of approved permits from 0 to 20 within 18 months.
• Managed the BLM Right of Way (ROW) application process and related NEPA compliance for a proposed oil field access road, two pipelines, two compressor stations and a looped gas gathering system to drill 50 new wells.
• Drove the overall application process to obtain state permits from the WOGCC and the Wyoming DEQ for a gravel mine and a produced water disposal well within Samson’s unit operating areas which saved the company.
• Initiated a road maintenance agreement program among all BLM ROW users of a 45 mile oil field access road to recover $200,000 of annual road upgrade and maintenance costs.

• Managed and administered all midstream contracts for the DJ Basin and the Uintah Basin.
• Set up and briefed all DJ and Uintah Basin midstream contracts in Quorum to streamline and integrate assets acquired from Kerr-McGee.
• Instituted a new contract dedication process for all new wells drilled in the DJ Basin resulting in 300 new well connects to the Wattenberg gathering system and increased profits of $20 million over two years.
• Prepared and finalized contracts as directed by business development team.
• Notified business development team on contract expirations and advised them on new terms to facilitate financially prudent decisions and ensure contract compliance.
• Conveyed contract dedication decisions to midstream field operations on all new well connects.
