As a Product Manager at Metatheory, I have successfully managed launches by leading a team of 10 engineers and designers from research and discovery, to design and implementation, to launch. Utilizing my skills in evaluating success metrics, I set team goals based on data analysis, market research, and usability studies. One of my notable achievements was collaborating with cross-functional partners to launch "The Hatchening," an interactive Web3 experience in November 2022. This launch resulted in a significant increase in user retention and daily active users (DAU), with up to 8x growth during the first week and sustained DAU by up to 3x post-launch.I conducted over 20 user research protocol interviews to evaluate our existing product strategy and provide market research on upcoming MVPs. I also worked closely with my team to enhance the user onboarding flow and web3 onboarding, significantly reducing friction and improving the overall user experience. I worked with the team to rewrite our launcher from Flutter to Electron, allowing improved user adoption and streamlined the onboarding funnel.Throughout my career, I have also had the opportunity to mentor a junior product manager within the Games team, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. These experiences have honed my skills in team leadership and collaborative problem-solving.

I wear many hats day-to-day, including product management, community & support management, full-stack development, design management, and more.This passion project taught me many things: scaling and creating microservices, writing a REST API, SQL, frontend, and several programming languages. I worked in all sides of this project, from branding and product design, UX, community, trust & safety to development - for core product, monetisation, support, and more.

In my Product Management role, I focused on the monetising and advertising product - Auctions, at Top.gg. At Top.gg, I learned to immerse myself within our product, which allowed me to succeed in this role. I built strong relationships with our users of different demographics - which provided valuable feedback and insight to learn prioritisation to tackle in our advertising product. I personally conducted user experience interviews and worked heavily in improving user experience and onboarding and reducing friction in these funnels.

The Community and Support team focused on creating a safe platform for content creators to work together. There was a focus in three key areas: community, support, and social media. In this role, I led all work related to community management as well as content moderation for trust and safety for our platform. We did events, such as cross-platform workshops for community management and growth education; built a strong foundation of internal and external guidelines for platform safety, and more. This also included creating social media content and leading a team of support associates to empower users in customer service.

As a Senior Technical Consultant, I served as a consultant for our technical foundation and managing and onboarding my org of software developers.

In this role, I had the opportunity to lead a small and agile team of developers. Our goal was to create scalable and automated solutions for content moderation and scanning for Wattpad's volunteer pipeline, and also improve work output.My team created tools to improve work productivity by 12x for our ambassadors, stars and staff of over 1000 people. I also provided IT and general customer support to colleagues and customers. In addition, I worked on insights and analytics for leadership to gauge volunteer productivity and wellness. Working in this full-stack role, I used an array of infrastructure: SQL, React, Node.js, Python, Java, HTML5/CSS3/JS and more.

I worked in Trust and Safety to handle and review content according to our Code of Conduct and Content Guidelines, in a critical role of addressing behaviors that negatively impact our community.

As a UX Consultant for Health Hero, I provided product direction and ideas in a consulting capacity about user onboarding funnels. I delivered UX reports and acted as a technical advisor when it came to scaling.

As an intern at Delcan, I assisted with a plethora of tasks - from writing Node.js and Redis solutions for assisting in traffic engineering capabilities with Google's APIs to copy-writing and proofreading. I learned soft skills for collaboration and teamwork in a work environment, analytical skills, and more.
