Vanessa earned her BA in Public Administration from the University of Saskatchewan (USask); and, MA in Higher Education Administration and Leadership, with a specialization in business development in international education from Royal Roads University. Her research interests in systems leadership, strategic planning, and strategic enrolment management have been instrumental in recruitment program development. She has been with USask for over 10 years, working in domestic and international student recruitment, and academic advising to prospective and current students. Most recently, she served as the Undergraduate Recruitment and Programs Advisor in the Edwards School of Business. Now in the USask International Office Vanessa’s knowledge and experience provide a strong foundation for building and maintaining international partnerships for the University. Vanessa is the lead partnerships specailist for the Americas, Africa, and Oceania. She has a working proficiency in Spanish, and beginner Italian. Her numerous university and other institutional contacts resulting from her student-recruitment activities will greatly enhance engagement and impact in her work.
