In this position I was the leader of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement within the Biotech Packaging Merck site Uruguay. As an important milestone, I’ve implemented the OEE software tool for the 4 Production lines. Additionally, I had the opportunity to create the Project Management Office to record and do the follow-up of all Operations’ projects inside the plant.

I’ve leaded the implementation of the Warehouse Management Module of the SAP ERP System for the Biotech Packaging Site of Merck in Uruguay with the important support of the Business Architect’s team from Headquarters in Germany. The team members from Uruguay site were Master Data team, Supply Chain and Warehouse operators. This project helped achieving important savings for the site by the automation and error reduction of regular picking activities of very expensive products.
