With clients ranging from land buyers, house builders and property development companies, through to contractors, private individuals and local councils, we provide project specific, pragmatic and creative consultancy and design services across all development sectors covering all stages of a project from initial site assessment for development potential and early planning stages through to masterplanning, landscape strategies, detailed design and overseeing of works on site via a range of contracts and procurement methods.Working on projects in both rural and urban contexts we have particular experience, including provision of Expert Witness services, on sensitive and challenging sites such as those in or near to Green Belt, AONB and SPAs or with heritage designations such as Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings and Registered Parks and Gardens. In 2021 I was appointed as a board director at Kingston First (Kingston's BID) to provide input into ongoing projects relating to improving the public realm within the town centre. In Spring 2023 I was selected to be one of two co-chairs of the board.

I have been a member of the Design South East D:SE Design Review Panel since 2017 and in September 2019 I was also appointed as a member of the Ebbsfleet Garden City Design Forum.

Whilst at Randle Siddeley Associates, Vanessa worked as a landscape designer on numerous projects from their inception through to the preparation of detail design of hard and soft landscape elements as well as contract administration and overseeing of external works across a range of project sectors including healthcare, retail, business parks, education, transport, residential and mixed use schemes.

Vanessa was employed on a temporary basis at Liz Lake Associates throughout her time at university and also worked for the practice on her ‘year out’. Vanessa was an assistant within the office working on a range of projects and assisting in landscape design, site assessment and contract administration.
