Lead the Modular and Space Execution team for Home and Fabrics and Crafts. Supporting our merchant’s strategy to provide the highest quality and best value for all your Home and Crafting needs.

Responsible for Modular and Floorplan execution of business strategies within Apparel, Food, Consumables, Home, Entertainment, Hardlines, Seasonal and Toys. I lead and support a team of forty-five management associates, coordinating seasonal and yearly projects with (SBU) Business Team Leaders to complete Floorplan and Modular relays, including Modular Draw, Modular Execution and Floorplan Draw. Managed multiple projects and strategies throughout the year to ensure timelines are met and communication is consistent across many levels of the business. Streamlined and created training and project trackers to support the modular process as well as onboarding within our Central Teams to support the need of the Core Businesses. Assist in testing of Central Tools (Floorplan Automation) through many Floorplan Relays within departments I support.

Lead and supported a team of eight, including hourly and management associates, that supported the Lawn & Garden and Stationery businesses for Modular and Category Space Execution. Managed a team that supports all project/new stores as well as the seasonal/yearly relays for all large format stores. My team provided analysis, drawing of the floorplans, execution of modulars as well as traiting stores to match the strategy for merchants for the correct season. My team owned special projects and modular relays; I worked closely with the development team, merchants, and cross-functional teams to understand future strategies and vision for coming year/season to train and support my team for, not only relays, but project stores throughout the year, providing the stores an accurate view of their departments as the stores went through projects or yearly/seasonal modular relays.

Supported a team of seven floorplan specialists for Lawn & Garden and Stationery businesses for Store Layout Category Space. Managing all project/new stores as well as the seasonal/yearly relays for all large format stores. Providing analytical data for project stores, drawing of the floorplans as well as traiting stores to match the strategy of the merchants for the correct season. Drove BDI (Bi Directional Integration) within ROC (Design) and Floorplans for Lawn & Garden (Spring and Fall/Christmas) as well as Stationery (Core and BTS-which sits in D18 space in stores) Created and Pushed Colored Layouts in SET (Space Excellence Tool) for stores to have a visual of departmental shops and flow of strategies for better communication between HO and stores.

Supported a team of twelve for the Hardlines Division for Store Layout Category Space. Overseeing all project/new stores and floorplan relays for Automotive, Hardware, Paint, Sporting Goods, Lawn & Garden, and Stationery. This also includes the seasonal layouts for Back to School and Christmas for all large format stores. Supported a team to provide analytical data, drew the floorplans and traited stores to match the strategy for the merchants for the correct season. Managed multiple timelines of each department/relays to allow my managers time to work closely with buyers and cross-functional teams to understand their strategies and vision for the company.

Lead a team of nine for the Seasonal and Seasonal Craft Division for Store Layout Category Space. Managing all project/new stores and relays for Celebrations, Fabrics and Crafts, Seasonal, Stationery and Toys for all large format stores. Supported team to provide analysis, drew floorplans and traited stores to match the strategy of the merchants for the correct season. Supported buyers and cross-functional teams to understand their strategies and to capture the vision for the company. Provided stores first store-specific floorplans for all areas, helping to provide the stores an accurate view of their departments as the stores go through projects or modular relays.

I lead and supported a team of six for the Consumable Division Category Space Team. My team drew floor plans based on the analytical piece provided by the Category Space Managers for their departments. My team would work on several special projects in the Consumables area. The Category Space Managers work closely with buyers and planners to understand their strategies and the vision for the company to communicate that back to my team so we can provide the stores with an accurate view of their departments as the stores go through projects. As the company focused on growth, my team would be the production piece that was there to provided a true view of the floorplan by department for each and every project store as well as modular relays.

I lead and supported a team of eight for the Home Division Category Space Team. My team would draw floorplans based on the analytical piece provided by the Category Space Managers for their departments. My team worked with buyers and cross functional to provide store unique floor plans for modular relays within the Home Pad as well as the Outdoor Living area. We worked closely with the merchants to understand their strategies and vision for the company along with providing the stores an accurate view of their departments as the stores go through projects or a seasonal relay.

Analyzed sales and space for new and project stores for Celebrations. Supported buyers and planners to ensure strategies and adjacencies were incorporated into new and project stores.Coordinated with the Modular team to guarantee every store during the modular relay would receive an accurate floor plan for the Celebrations Center. Managed approximately 2300 layouts for the Celebrations Center. Supported and Directed FloorPlan Specialists on how to layout stores based on strategies for the coming project year.

Analyzed and drew layouts for new and project stores for Celebrations, Managed approximately 500 layouts for the Celebrations Center, Created a tracking tool which allowed the buyers to pinpoint available space for opportunities to create new categories, Initiated a completely paperless system for drawing layouts for stores. Drew layouts for new and project stores for Celebrations and Seasonal.

Analyzed and drew layouts of floor plans for new stores and project stores for Lawn & Garden, compared layouts to traits to ensure accuracy of store traits for opening. Supported cross-functional teams to order product for new stores and project stores to ensure 100% in-stocks at Grand Opening. Initiated and completed a link on the Project Store Global Information page to guide the project stores in setting the Live Plants based on their location.

Experienced working with buyers, 100+ suppliers and 3500+ stores. Prepared Daily Sales Reports and Retail Link Reports to analyze categories for Buyers. Managed all Retail changes for Lawn and Garden. Analyzed and prepared data for all buyers each month, which allowed them to reevaluate and effect future ships and orders based on sales. Supported stores with On-Orders and the Flow of Live Goods. Assisted suppliers on Scripts and to solve store level issues. Trained new assistants on systems and processes.
