I believe you can do anything you put your mind to, it’s a philosophy I use every day in my own life and encourage others to live and work by too. I joined media as a graduate in 2010 and have gained wide cross-media experience in planning, buying and selling. Outdoor advertising has been the focal point of my career. For me the humble poster is a timeless communication tool for brands to talk to their audience and I find the diversity of formats and environments in Outdoor fascinating. Ultimately media can be a huge driver of social change and I think it’s important that companies and employees alike fully realise that responsibility. My personal time is dedicated to sport, enjoying the positive impact it has for me personally and on the community. Though I’m not a pro athlete, I don’t ever let that hold me back. Throughout my life I have participated in lots of sports including cycling to work, running half and full marathons and undertaking triathlons. One experience that particularly shaped my outlook was rowing for four years at school where I also coached younger members of the squad. I then became a rowing coach for novice members of Vesta rowing club in my 20s, where my sporting experience has deeply influenced my career development. I’ve also organised charity events to get people involved in sport, all while taking part in various events myself, most recently completing a Half Ironman in August 2022.
