With over 10 years of experience in public health, Dr. Vanessa Mejia is a passionate and skilled researcher, evaluator, and consultant who works with diverse stakeholders to create equity in the accessibility of resources for youth and their families. She is the CEO and Founder of Mejia Consulting, LLC, a firm that specializes in youth development, maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, evidence-based programming, and organizational leadership and development.Dr. Mejia has successfully managed and implemented multiple projects funded by federal, state, and local governments, as well as private foundations, that aim to improve the health and well-being of underserved populations. She has also partnered with for-profit businesses, nonprofit and community-based organizations, public schools, universities, and city agencies to provide research, evaluation, and consulting services that enhance their social impact and effectiveness.
