I am an experienced business developer and marketing professional as well as experienced in general administration. I have worked in sales and new business for more than 10 years in Canada, Europe and the Middle East. Generating leads and growing business for event, publishing and online agencies, I have a strong track record in building strong relationships and converting leads into profitable business.After having my two children, I have refocused and applied my communication, organisational, administrative and marketing skills to the role of virtual assistant for several small businesses and entrepreneurs. Responsible for a wide range of tasks, I assisted my clients with diary management, email admin, social media, newsletters and comms, website updating, database management as well as on-site roles such as filing and general office orgnisation... just to name a few things! In recent years, I have transitioned to working full-time as a Clerk to Governors for several independent schools as well as in a free lance capacity for a large mutli academy Trust. I have been doing this role now for 2.5 years and am enjoying working in the education sector.
