The Edmonton Elks are proud members of the Canadian Football League, playing their home games at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta. The club has a tradition of excellence with 14 Grey Cup championships (1954-56, 1975, 1978-82, 1987, 1993, 2003, 2005, 2015) and 52 members of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. Since its founding, the club has been community-owned and remains focused on providing outstanding football memories for Edmonton and all of Northern Alberta.

ACCOMPLISHMENTSIn maintaining a highly visible leadership role for the Sustainable Development & Urban Form & Corporate Strategic Development Department I have partnered with Branch Managers and Deputy City Managers to bring financial insight to projects and profiles allowing clarity and problem identification.In establishing financial and operating models for large projects such as Blatchford and the Civic Accommodation Transformation project to being the financial lead for the Land Governance project I have been able to form key relationships and drive decisions. Partnering with and leading the financial expertise for Branches such as City Planning, Development Services, Economic Environmental Sustainability, Real Estate and Housing on operating and capital reporting to strategic initiatives, help drive the Department towards a higher level of accountability and in turn a higher and more efficient end result.I have made significant strides in re-establishing the diminished credibility, influence, and engagement of the Business financial analytics (BFA) team. Building and managing a high performing team in a high-change and turbulent environment has and continues to be a priority.

ACCOMPLISHMENTSCreated and implemented monthly financial reporting package and decreased reporting deadlines by two days. I streamlined many processes across Canada and the US. This in-turn built up the confidence of the finance team increasing the value, credibility and integrity of finance throughout the organization. Established and lead the long-range planning and forecast cycle incorporating company strategies and provided guidance to the executive team and regional managers identifying future focal points for financial performance.

ACCOMPLISHMENTSProject accounting for over 20 projects. Created a five-year plan for internal and external Mgmt. Chosen for the ERP implementation team across all of EA for (Workday and HPP). Implemented full monthly studio model and reporting for BioWare Label including all departments, projects and headcount reporting. Assisted in the acquisition of KlickNation by EA. Created resource planning process plus all associated reporting.

Instrumental in facilitating a portion of the $860M acquisition of Pandemic Studio by Electronic Arts in 2008. Managed the closing of Pandemic Studios whilst stepping up and sharing the role of Business Director. Implemented Oracle, GPS, GFR/Essbase and Hyperion.Maintained a highly visible leadership role, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, extensive financial growth capabilities, change readiness and overall financial and company goal alignment for the Australian studio. This encompassed 160 employees across multiple teams and holding the financial ownership for distribution to Senior Leadership within VHG/EA

Implemented and provided all training for store and assistant managers throughout New Zealand providing increased level of accountability across the organization. Additionally I lead the restructure of the rebates system which increased revenues by over $5M.
