Hi, thanks for dropping in! I'm Vanessa, a fresh graduate from ADM NTU with a specialisation in animation. I first started drawing in my childhood after being captivated by the comics I read, and ever since I haven't been able to put my pencil down. My focus lies in comics, storyboarding, and storytelling. So far, along with a team of 3, I directed and produced an animated short, "Paper Offerings" (2022), a short that was shown during the Annecy Film Festival for the Paris-Lyon-Singapour program. It has been screened at 8 international film festivals and has won 5 awards. Some notably include the 100-Second International Film Festival, the Shibuya TANPEN Film Festival CLIMAX at Sasebo, and The 5th Meihodo International Youth Visual Media Festival.I have also recently directed my final year film, a comedy short called "Purgatory" (2024), which was designed to be a cartoon pitch for a TV series.Besides drawing, I also love playing Dungeons and Dragons, and swing dancing (the lindy hop!).
