Responsible for the development of new revenue streams out with traditional newspaper revenue streams of advertising and purchase price. This involved the development of new on- line and telephony propositions linked to the newspaper, its content and promotional reach. Revenue delivered from a standing start was £1m million in 2 years from new products e.g. on-line gaming, product extensions and endorsements

Responsible for managing a £2million research budget to support marketing activities including brand proposition, customer satisfaction and advertising effectiveness and utilising research results to build differentiating points for Scottish Hydro Electric in the marketplace by the creation and implementation of a robust value proposition. Ensuring a “voice of the customer” was heard at board level supported by research results.
