My current role at the California State Parks helps to protect and preserve my district's archaeological sites.As the Associate Archaeologist at EMC Planning, I am responsible for CEQA compliance. Perceptions of risk, especially within the health-care domain, is a theme of my anthropology research. I have been conducting independent studies into the ways in which individuals and groups interact with their environment and accumulate standard chains of thought. Prior to that, I was involved in all levels of cultural resource management, from planning and organizing archaeological projects, to archival research and Class I and III field work. I have also contributed to final reports and supervised the curation of hundreds of artifacts into state repositories.
