Environmental coordination of the Correia Pinto mill in Santa Catarina with the main achievements:2016 - The mill obtained the lowest number of environmental observations / nonconformities compared to others Latin American mills in EHS audits.2015 - "LAO Process Excellence Award" Lean Six Sigma project for water reuse in the production process led by me.2014: The mill plant received the "Crystal Tree" award for the development of the ProjectSocio-environmental “Crescer”.2013 - The company was considered the best in the Solid Waste category by theSustainability Award of Exame Magazine.2012 - The mill was considered a model in the environmental management system ofcorporation in EHS assessment.Summary of the main activities carried out:• Development, implementation and maintenance of the EMS, according to ISO 14001.• Environmental aspects and impacts identification and evaluation.• Responsible for the environmental operation licensing process.• Conducting environmental training.• Communications to external institution and protocol technical reports in IBAMA, Police and others state agencies. • Control and review of documents, procedures and work instructions.• Inspections and identification of nonconformities in the unit.• Environmental accidents investigation.• Critical analysis of the EMS.• Internal and external environmental auditing.• Environmental indicators management of the unit and reporting to corporation.• Leader of the socio-environmental project that develops children of the community.

Main Activities:• Responsible for the environmental management of suppliers base.• Leader of Sustainability Projects in the value chain.• Mapping and socio-environmental auditing in tier I and II steel and aluminum suppliers.• Internal auditor of the integrated management system.• Critical analysis of parts according to European RoHS Directive (Restriction of Certain HazardousSubstances).• Critical analysis of parts according to REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation,Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances).• Holding of Events of Supplies.• Realization of a socio-environmental questionnaire for supplier’s self-evaluation.• Whirlpool representation at forums and meeting on ABNT NBR ISO 26000: 2010.• Participation with the Design and Innovation team in Design for Environment (DfE - Sustainable Design) projects for the development of refrigerators.
