This data is used to inform overdose prevention programs and interventions to support recovery from substance use disorder. -Compose written abstracts and publications to disseminate results, lessons learned, and best practices learned from the Overdose Data to Action Program at the Department of Health in Palm Beach County through conferences and peer-reviewed journals.

Northeast Florida AHEC provides health education to the community by offering a variety of evidence-based free programs on topics ranging from tobacco cessation, chronic disease self-management, physical activity, and healthy eating. We are apart of the National AHEC Organization. The National AHEC Organization represents a network of more than 300 AHEC program offices and centers that serve over 85% of United States counties. The NAO mission is to help its members achieve the AHEC mission through advocacy, education, and research. The AHEC mission is to enhance access to quality health care, particularly primary and preventive care, by improving the supply and distribution of healthcare professionals via strategic partnerships with academic programs, communities, and professional organizations.
